Do you have trouble saying no to someone you love? I feel their disappointment right in the pit of my stomach. When declining the request of the partner, husband, wife, child or friend, or Pet, for God’s sakes, it tends to make us feel guilty. I just got back from the supermarket and bought 7 cases of cat foot and 6 large bags of cat treats. Why? I am sick and tired of the screaming of my cats..every five minutes they demand yet another supplemental meal. A “friskie” here, a “kibbles and bits” there, Meow Mix again, they ask for it by name.

I tied my tubes at 36 because I knew that I would not do well with children. i would lack the assertiveness required.,I frequently tell people that if I had had kids, they would have all had become career felons because I would have spoiled them rotten. So instead? I raise cats who are demanding, spoiled, “Bless their hearts” as they say in the south. They lick me, kiss, rub up against, block my computer scream, and employ any ploy to get me to fulfill their Friskie/ Kibbles and Bitts demands. By the end of the day, their constant Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, has made my stomach churn, with guilt until I give, give, give. Thus the excessive digestive complaints and Friskies purchases.

As I was researching this week I had the Oprah show on the TV an Voila, Adam Lambert was on talking about that scandalous performance(on the American Music Awards, the AMA’s) that got him in all kinds of trouble.The singer’s decision to take some exhibitionist risks onstage, singing about only the positive aspects of relationships in his song “For Your Entertainment”. However, few of us have the opportunity of having relationships which are only fun, exciting , entertaining and enjoyable. In almost any story we read, the couple will be sailing along in romance heaven and then we will read,” And it came to pass…” which means  a troubled time is about to happen. And after Adam Lambert left the stage after singing his controversal performance on the AMA’s, his love affair with the media ended abruptly. ABC dropped him. All these business partners left him in the dust. In one moment, from love, to puff..they were all gone..There are many relationships that aren’t meant to last forever for a variety of reasons. Endings are almost always painful and never as entertaining as the beginning of a love relationship.  And then, if you can survive the painful Divorce or dead friendship, you will notice that in the next relationship, the love is oh so much sweeter. What do they say? I know… its very corny but almost in time for Valentine’s day” One who has never tasted the bitter cannot know the sweet”. Relationships are a second chakra issue and the thrill or pain of a partnership can usually be felt in our 2nd chakra organs, especially the uterus, ovaries, cervix, vagina, pelvis and lower-back.People with chronic relationship trauma tend to have chronic pelvic pain and gynecological problems.
